Itinerary

October 15: ATLANTA / BANGKOK
The group departs from Atlanta on their international flight, beginning their journey to Thailand. Overnight on board the aircraft as you travel toward Bangkok.

October 16: TRANSIT IN ISTANBUL
The group is in transit at Istanbul Airport, allowing time to stretch, refresh, and prepare for the next leg of the journey before boarding the connecting flight to Bangkok.

October 17: ARRIVAL IN BANGKOK & EVENING TUK-TUK FOOD TOUR
Upon arrival at Suvarnabhumi Airport, you will meet your local English-speaking guide at Gate 06 on the second floor and transfer to your hotel in Bangkok. After checking in and resting from the journey, the evening introduces you to Bangkok’s vibrant culinary scene. Your Midnight Tuk-Tuk Food Tour takes you through lively streets as you sample local specialties such as spicy papaya salad, crispy catfish, Isan-style pork dishes, and the famous crispy chicken noodles. A walk through the colorful Flower Market adds a touch of local charm, followed by a drink at a secret rooftop bar overlooking the illuminated skyline. You continue along Bantadthong Road, one of Bangkok’s newest foodie hotspots, before returning to the hotel around midnight. Dinner is provided during the tour. Overnight in Bangkok. (D)

October 18: BANGKOK FULL-DAY CULTURAL TOUR
After breakfast, begin the day with a visit to Wat Pho, home of the impressive 46-meter-long Reclining Buddha and known as the birthplace of traditional Thai massage. Continue to the Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew, Thailand’s most sacred religious complex, where the revered Emerald Buddha sits enshrined amid glittering architecture and murals. Lunch is served at a local restaurant before you embark on a scenic long-tail boat ride along the canals of Thonburi, revealing traditional wooden stilt houses and a slower-paced riverside lifestyle.
Next, explore the iconic Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn, known for its porcelain-decorated prang and panoramic river views. Return to the hotel to refresh before heading to Icon Siam for leisure time. In the evening, board a dinner cruise on the Chao Phraya River, enjoying dinner under candlelight with illuminated city views and live music. Return to the hotel for overnight in Bangkok. (B/L/D)

October 19: AYUTTHAYA ANCIENT CITY
Following breakfast, travel north to the UNESCO-listed ancient capital of Ayutthaya. Explore Wat Mahathat, renowned for the Buddha head entwined in banyan roots and once a major center of royal religious ceremonies. We continue to Wat Phra Si Sanphet, the former royal monastery of the Grand Palace, recognized by its three elegant stupas that inspired Bangkok’s Wat Phra Kaew. Lunch is enjoyed at a local restaurant before visiting Wat Chaiwatthanaram, a grand riverside temple built in Khmer style, offering one of the most picturesque settings in Ayutthaya. October 20: BANGKOK TO CHIANG MAI: CITY & TEMPLE TOUR
After breakfast and an early check-out, transfer to the airport for your flight to Chiang Mai. Upon arrival, meet your local guide and begin exploring the city’s historical highlights. Visit Wat Chedi Luang, known for its massive, partially ruined 14th-century chedi, followed by Wat Phra Singh, a revered Lanna-style temple housing the sacred Phra Buddha Sihing image. Lunch is served at a local restaurant. You then transfer to your hotel for check-in and time to refresh before discovering the trendy Nimmanhaemin Road district, filled with cafés, galleries, and boutiques. Dinner is enjoyed at a local restaurant, and the evening concludes at the bustling Chiang Mai Night Bazaar, where you can explore handicrafts, textiles, and local snacks. October 21: FULL-DAY ELEPHANT CARE EXPERIENCE (NO RIDING)
After breakfast, travel to Ran-Tong Elephant Sanctuary, a rescue and rehabilitation center for abused and injured elephants. Spend the day learning about elephant behavior and conservation while engaging in gentle, ethical interactions. Activities include feeding the elephants, walking with them through nature, and bathing them in the river. A simple but delicious lunch is provided at the camp before returning to the hotel to rest. October 22: LOCAL HOME COOKING CLASS & DOI SUTHEP
After breakfast, travel to Bandoo in the Hangdong district to visit a 150-year-old traditional Lanna family home. Explore the orchard filled with seasonal fruits and herbs, then learn to prepare authentic northern Thai dishes alongside the host family. Enjoy the homemade lunch you prepare. In the afternoon, continue to Doi Suthep Temple, Chiang Mai’s most revered mountaintop shrine. Ride the cable car to the terrace and admire panoramic views of the city before exploring the golden stupa, shrines, and naga staircase. October 23: CHIANG MAI TO PHUKET

October 24: PHUKET DAY TOUR
Begin the day with breakfast before exploring some of Phuket’s most notable sites. Start at Promthep Cape, known for its sweeping ocean views and dramatic sunsets. Continue to the Rawai Sea Gypsy Village, where you learn about the maritime traditions of the Moken community. Visit Chalonge Temple, the island’s most important Buddhist temple, believed to house a relic of the Buddha. Lunch is served at a local restaurant before strolling through Phuket Old Town, with its colorful Sino Portuguese architecture, charming cafés, and vibrant street art. October 25: FULL-DAY PHI PHI ISLANDS TOUR
After breakfast, transfer to the pier and travel by speedboat to the renowned Phi Phi Islands. Your first stop is Maya Bay, a breathtaking lagoon surrounded by towering limestone cliffs. Continue to Loh Samah Bay for snorkeling among vibrant corals and tropical fish, then swim in the turquoise waters of Pileh Lagoon, encircled by dramatic rock formations. A beachfront Thai lunch is served before visiting Monkey Beach, where wild monkeys can often be observed along the shore. Return to Phuket by speedboat and transfer to the hotel for dinner. October 26: DEPARTURE FROM PHUKET
