This morning, we travel outside of Saigon to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, a vast underground network used by the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War. We have the chance to explore a section of the tunnels and learn about the ingenious survival tactics used by the soldiers, including trapdoors, underground kitchens, and living quarters. Later, we return to Saigon and visit the War Remnants Museum, a poignant reminder of the Vietnam War’s impact on the country. Explore the exhibits showcasing powerful photographs and wartime relics. Next, we visit the Notre Dame Cathedral, a striking French colonial building, and stroll around Ben Thanh Market, where you
can shop for souvenirs and sample local street food. In the evening we enjoy dinner at a local restaurant and then head to Bui Vien Street, Saigon’s lively nightlife hub.
