October 6: NEW YORK/BANGKOK

We depart on an international overnight flight to Bangkok. Dinner and breakfast are served on board.

October 7: BANGKOK

Upon arrival in Bangkok, we are met and greeted by our Tour Escort, and next board a motorcoach for transfer to our hotel. Afternoon at leisure to relax after a long flight. Dinner and overnight in Bangkok. (D)

October 8: BANGKOK

The morning begins with a scenic klong (canal) tour along the Chaophraya River, often referred to as the “Venice of the East.” Wooden houses on stilts line the waterways, offering a glimpse into the city’s traditional way of life. The boat glides toward Wat Arun, the iconic Temple of Dawn, where its intricate spires shimmer in the sunlight, a testament to Thailand’s rich artistry. Following a leisurely afternoon to enjoy lunch on your own, visit the Emerald Buddha Temple, a sacred site housing the country’s most revered Buddha statue. Nearby, the Grand Palace enchants with its gilded halls and intricate murals, each telling the stories of Thai history and mythology. Later we visit the Icon Siam, a modern riverside hub blending shopping, entertainment, and culture.
Here, indulge in some free time before embarking on a magical dinner cruise along the Chaophraya River. Dinner and overnight in Bangkok. (B/D)

October 9: BANGKOK

The day begins with a scenic drive to the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, where the air is alive with vibrant colors, enticing aromas, and the lively chatter of vendors. En route, visit a traditional coconut farm to witness the art of making coconut sugar, a specialty of the region, and learn about the simple yet ingenious methods used by local families. From there, continue to Klong Khone for an unforgettable mangrove forest adventure. Aboard a long-tailed speedboat, cruise through lush greenery to reach a kra-teng, a rustic bamboo hut built on stilts over the sea. Here, enjoy a picnic lunch with panoramic views of the ocean and mangroves before returning via boat. Along the way, we stop to feed curious monkeys and marvel at the oyster farms dotting water. Conclude the day with a visit to the Maeklong Railway Market, a bustling bazaar where trains pass just inches from the stalls. Dinner and overnight in Bangkok. (B/L/D)

October 10: BANGKOK/HANOI

After breakfast, we bid farewell to Bangkok and transfer to the airport for our flight to Hanoi, Vietnam’s capital. Upon arrival, we are met, greeted and transfer to our hotel. In the evening, savor a traditional Vietnamese dinner at a local restaurant before settling in for the night in Hanoi. Dinner and overnight in Hanoi. (B/D)

October 11: HANOI

Begin the day with a visit to the Temple of Literature, an 11thcentury sanctuary dedicated to Confucius that served as Vietnam’s first university. Stop at Ba Dinh Square for a photo opportunity with the grand Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, a symbol of Vietnam’s revolutionary history. Next, explore Tran Quoc Pagoda, Hanoi’s oldest pagoda, situated on the serene banks of West Lake. In the afternoon, venture to the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long, a UNESCO World Heritage Site brimming with historical significance and archaeological treasures. As evening descends, wander through the lively Old Quarter before enjoying a traditional Water Puppet Show. This unique performance, accompanied by live folk music, vividly depicts Vietnam’s rural life and legends. End the day with a delightful dinner at a local restaurant. Dinner and overnight in Hanoi. October 12: HANOI/HA LONG BAY

In the morning, we embark on a scenic four-hour drive to Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Upon arrival, we board your luxury cruise and sail into the mystical seascape of limestone karsts and emerald waters. Later, we explore the bay by kayak, paddle through hidden lagoons, or swim in the clear waters. Visit the famous Sung Sot Cave (Surprise Cave), one of Ha Long Bay’s most impressive caves, where you’ll walk through vast chambers adorned with stalactites and stalagmites. In the evening we relax on the deck as the sun sets over the karsts, casting an orange glow across the water. A gourmet dinner will be served onboard, offering freshly caught seafood and Vietnamese specialties. Enjoy the peaceful ambiance of the bay at night .Dinner and overnight in Ha Long Bay. (B/L/D)

October 13: HA LONG BAY/HO CHI MINH CITY (SAIGON)

We start our day with a Tai Chi session on deck as the sun rises over Ha Long Bay. Enjoy breakfast as the cruise slowly makes its way back to the harbor. After disembarking, we return to Hanoi to catch our flight to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon),Vietnam’s bustling southern metropolis, and transfer to our hotel. We spend the evening at leisure and then enjoy a quiet dinner at a local restaurant. Dinner and overnight in Ho Chi Minh City. (B/D)

October 14: HO CHI MINH CITY (SAIGON)

This morning, we travel outside of Saigon to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, a vast underground network used by the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War. We have the chance to explore a section of the tunnels and learn about the ingenious survival tactics used by the soldiers, including trapdoors, underground kitchens, and living quarters. Later, we return to Saigon and visit the War Remnants Museum, a poignant reminder of the Vietnam War’s impact on the country. Explore the exhibits showcasing powerful photographs and wartime relics. Next, we visit the Notre Dame Cathedral, a striking French colonial building, and stroll around Ben Thanh Market, where you
can shop for souvenirs and sample local street food. In the evening we enjoy dinner at a local restaurant and then head to Bui Vien Street, Saigon’s lively nightlife hub. With bars, cafes, and street performers, it’s the perfect place to experience the vibrant energy of the city. Dinner and overnight in Ho Chi Minh City. (B/D)

October 15: HO CHI MINH CITY(SAIGON)/ PHUKET

In the morning, we transfer to the airport for our flight to Phuket, Thailand’s largest island, known for its stunning beaches and vibrant nightlife. After arriving in Phuket, we transfer to your beachside resort and relax by the pool or on the soft sands of Patong Beach. This popular area is lively, with plenty of beach bars, cafes, and water sports to enjoy. Dinner and overnight in Phuket. (B/D)

October 16: PHUKET

This morning, we visit an ethical Elephant Sanctuary, where we can interact with these gentle giants in a natural and sustainable environment. Learn about elephant conservation efforts and spend time feeding, bathing, and walking with the elephants, a heartwarming and unforgettable experience. Afternoon is free to relax at your resort or venture out to explore more of Phuket’s stunning beaches. Dinner and overnight in Phuket. (B/D)

October 17: PHUKET/NEW YORK

This day is yours to spend however you choose. For your final night in Thailand, we enjoy a seaside dinner at a beachfront restaurant, savoring fresh seafood while watching the sunset over the Andaman Sea. Later, we transfer to the airport for our flight home departing late at night. Dinner in Phuket. (D)
